Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team entered their final two races of the 2017 season from November 2-4 in the 11th edition of the 'World Finals' at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series held their season-ending races at the 4/10-mile speedplant and 75 competitors signed into the pit area to do battle. The Richmond, Indiana ace then moved past seven competitors during the contest to score a fifteenth place performance. In the $12,000 to win finale on Saturday evening, Steve unfortunately failed to transfer into the 50-lapper after running fifth in his stacked heat race and sixth in his B-Main. Steve did later compete in the Non-Qualifiers Race, which paid $2,500 to the winner, and walked way with a fourth place performance.
